I've been trying to piece my life back together after recently recovering from nausea associated with the first trimester of my second pregnancy. Those 3+ months of sickness leveled me. Seriously, I've felt like I've had to learn to be human again.
Here is the best way I can describe my sickness: Someone forced me to swallow a 5-pound bag of sand and it just sat in my stomach for months. I could never get rid of the sand. It never came up and it never went down. Yep, that's about it.
I can honestly say that I understand now...I get pregnant women, chemo patients, people with motion sickness, and surfers who crash into shore head-first and open-mouthed.
But it's over now. Except for the occasional moment of nausea, I feel like a normal pregnant woman again. And baby #2 (a girl) will come sometime in late June!
